REGISTRATION PROCESS

To get registered with KERNEL COMPUTER EDUCATION ASSOCIATION (KCEA), students are required to follow a simple and well-structured registration process. The process has been designed to ensure that every aspiring learner, whether from a rural background or an urban city, can easily take admission and start their computer education journey. This document explains the procedure in a step-by-step manner so that no student faces difficulty during admission.

Step 1: Collect Application Form & Information Brochure

Students first need to obtain the official application form along with the information brochure. These are available at all Authorised Study Centres (ASC). The brochure contains detailed information about available courses, fee structure, eligibility, and examination guidelines. It is mandatory to purchase this brochure before proceeding with registration.

Step 2: Fill the Application Form Carefully

Once the student has the form, it should be filled in capital letters with accurate personal details such as:

• Full Name of the Student
• Father’s or Guardian’s Name
• Permanent & Correspondence Address
• Date of Birth and Age Proof
• Preferred Course Name and Code
• Authorised Study Centre (ASC) Name and Code

Students must ensure that there are no spelling mistakes or overwriting, as the same details will appear on certificates and mark sheets.

Step 3: Enclosures with the Application Form

Every application form must be submitted along with the following enclosures:

• Two recent photographs (one passport size and one stamp size).
• Attested photocopy of the last educational qualification.
• Category certificate (SC/ST/Handicapped), if applicable, for fee relaxation.
• Demand Draft payable at Allahabad in favor of “KERNEL COMPUTER EDUCATION ASSOCIATION”.

These enclosures are compulsory. Any incomplete form without enclosures will be rejected automatically.

Step 4: Submission of the Form

After completing the form and attaching required enclosures, students must submit it to the respective Authorised Learning Centre. The centre will verify all documents and forward the form to the KCEA head office for approval. Once verified, the student will receive a confirmation of admission along with their enrollment number.

Step 5: Fee Payment

The total fee has to be paid at the time of registration. Students can make the payment through a Demand Draft. Some centres may also provide the option for online fee submission. Fee relaxation is available for reserved categories (SC/ST/Handicapped) as per KCEA rules.

Course Structure

Considering the diverse requirements of students, KCEA offers a wide variety of courses. Broadly, the courses are divided into two categories:

1. Certificate Courses

Designed mainly for beginners, these courses cover the basics of computer education. Even students from non-technical backgrounds can enroll and learn fundamentals like operating systems, MS Office, Internet usage, and basic programming. The objective is to make every student computer literate.

2. Diploma / Advance Diploma Courses

These are advanced programs that prepare students for professional careers in the IT industry. Topics like Internet Programming, Advanced Programming, Accountancy, and Desktop Publishing are taught. The curriculum is designed to match modern industry needs and ensure students emerge as skilled IT professionals.

• All information provided in the form must be true and correct.
• KCEA reserves the right to cancel admission if false documents are submitted.
• Once registered, students will receive ID cards and study materials.
• Regular classes and university-affiliated programs are available only in selected ASCs.
